Sail away where no ball and chain can keep us from the roarin' waves. Together undivided but forever we'll be free. Erin was walking down the halls of the hold, looking for her stay. Titus was hopping behind her, squawking occasionally as he stumbled over a hole in the floor. Erin stopped, and looked at one of the room's door. She sighed, and opened the cabin door.
Inside, her room was larger than she had been expecting. It had a bed (or at least what resembled one,) a chair, and a fair-sized desk. She smiled, laying her bags and measurements on the cot. She unpacked everything, slipped into something far more comfortable than:: Boots, a tight shirt with a leather vest over it, and jeans. She slipped into a pair of slacks, a night shirt, and two pairs of socks for warmth. She put the measuring tape, and the canvas on the table, and started to work. She was just marking an end for cutting, when she heard footsteps outside her cabin door. So sail away aboard our rig, the moon is full and so are we. We're seven drunken pirates, we're the seven deadly sins.

Leon ran a hand over his face. He hadn't slept for 5 days now, no real feat for him but still, it was getting to him. Ruby and the twins immenent departure and his failed interrupted attempt to... He sighed. That was no excuse, no matter what his personal feelings at the moment he shouldn't be brooding about them, he was the Captain, the strength. He was the Guardian of The Howl, he was the blade of a sword, he....was so bloody tired. He straightened his back and prepared himself for another duty, a simple one, simply checking up on the new arrival. He had realised in the past few days how much Jay actually did for him, but since he was still sick then the jobs fell on his shoulders. Usually he took this job on anyway, bounding up to the new crewmates and laughing and joking to make them feel at home, but he felt as though he were about to keel over any minute. He gave himself a vigorous shake and knocked on the cabin door. He had given the new sailmaker a cabin rather than a cot with the others so that she would have the room to do whatever it was that was needed to look after the sails. He waited outside the door, hat hiding the jumbled mess of silver hued hair and the resulting shadow from said hat, hiding the deep shadows beneath his eyes.

So the years rolled by and several died and left us somewhat reelin'. Johnny strummed his Tommy gun left blastin' through the ceiling
She made a notch to mark the place where she would cut, and stood up. She walked over to the door, avoiding the spaces in the planks wherever possible. She turned the handle, and wasn't surprised to see Captain Dagger there. She smiled, and said, "Hi. Come in, come in." She held the door open for him, and waited for him to come in. She shut the wooden cabin door, and beckoned for him to sit down. He looks awful. she thought. And he did, he had the appearance that he was going to heave any second. She whistled to get Titus's attention, and made a "get out" gesture towards the pelican. Titus reluctantly moved out of the way of Leon. Erin took a seat where she was, and looked at Leon. "Is there anything I can get you?" She said, to lighten the conversation if it was heading for the high side of the scales.
So what became of rebels who sang for you and me? Grapplin' with their demons in the search for liberty.

Leon stepped into the room when he was granted permission. He gave a weak smile to Black Erin and shook his head when she beckoned for him to sit. No thank you, he said simply in answer to her answer. I am merely coming to check up on our new recruit, ensure you are settling in ok, despite the chaos. I assume you are?

Suffers who suffer all can swim upon the desert, where avarice have ravaged all in spite of good intentions
She nodded, and continued with her cutting. "Haven't really noticed much myself. Is there?" She herself really hadn't. She finished the strip that she was on, and started on the ones beside it. She hadn't at first realized how unintentionally rude the question was, she knew how many things could go wrong on long journeys at sea. She hoped he wouldn't take her inquiry the wrong way.
She finished all her cuts for now, and started to root through her baggage for some pins and needles. And also canvas thread. The canvas thread was easy, if she couldn't find it that was. She could just use the scraps of the sail and cut them into thin strips for use. But the pins and needles were things that she absolutely needed.
Don't fill your mouth with gluttony, for pride will surely swell. But nothing's unforgiven in the four corners of hell!

Good evening Erin- Rubes began, then saw Dagger. She smiled. Cap'n. she greeted informally, nodding. She saw his state, and knew he must have gone several days without sleep. Her smile became slightly tight with worry- when she was gone, no one would make sure the captain got enough sleep, except Jay, who was currently sick and in no state to force Dagger to sleep. Of course.... she thought wryly. When I'm gone, it'll be one less thing to worry about.
She stood in the open doorway. I'll let you two keep talking, I just wanted to check in on you, Erin, we didn't get to talk much earlier. she said. Perhaps Erin or Dagger would invite her to stay, and if not, Ruby wouldn't be offended.

"Good Evening-" Crap! What was her name? Sure Erin was certain no one would expect her to know all the crew's names, but this woman...she was sure she had caught it somewhere. Roan? Ronda? Eck, hope not...Ruby? Rubes! That's the name I heard! Better check anyways.. "Is it Rubes? I'm not quite sure, that's the only other name besides Dagger I had heard, and you seem like the name would fit..hehe." She smiled wryly, then bit down hard on her lip, trying not to gasp. She found the pins and needle. Just with the tips of her fingers was all. She nimbly picked them out of the sack, and sat them on the tabletop. After she got out all she had brought, she waved her hand briskly, and closed up the sack. She stood up, using the table for support, and looked at the girl supposedly called Rubes. "If you want to come in and sit down, that would be fine with me."

Yeah, it's Ruby or Rubes. Sorry, I must've forgot to introduce myself. Ruby said, smiling. I'd love to; Cody's with the twins, so I'm free right now... she said, entering. I hope that none of the crew has scared you with the fact that we haven't had a sailmaker last longer than a few weeks in a couple years. Rube said cheerfully, tactless as always.[/size]

((OOC: o.o MUSE))
Leon looked up as Ruby entered the room, seemed she had come to check up on their new member too. He suddenly grew nervous and he turned quickly, gaining himself a headrush and causing him to sway for a couple of moments before he cleared his throat. I do believe I mustve missed out that snippet of information. He lowered his gaze. Maybe I should go I have to check up on Jay and make sure the crew is working and then check the ship and... he trailed off realising he was mumbling. He started to walk towards the door.
