[Captain Leon Dagger]

((OOC: it's ok leave your captain shaking and rocking back and forth like a mad man...don't worry...jk))

Leon suddenly stood, looked around, seemingly oblivious to the chaos ensuing on deck around him and he turned and ran, unfortunately the direction he tried to run in was straight at Emma, it obviously hadn't registered with him that anyone else was here as he ran and so he tumbled into her, becoming tangled in some rope left on the deck.

Leon's arms thrashed as he tried to free himself and tears flowed unbidden down his cheeks. No, someone don't let them take me.... He screamed before falling silent and simply mouthing the word 'no'.

As Emma finished asking her question, she expected either a dismiss of the hand and a comment about how she shouldn't worry, or an actual answer (which she preferred) that would explain what exactly was going on. What she didn't expect was a large man, the captain, turning around and knocking into her full throttle. The wind was knocked out of her as she flew to the floor and was tangled into the ropes. As her back hit the deck, a sharp pain stabbed at it and made her take a short, choked intake of breath. "Okay then, no answer." she replied, and the sides of her vision went blurry. Then she heard the Captain screaming insanely and the silence after it.
Emmaline pulled herself up and looked over at her captain and decided something was dreadfully wrong, like always. She sighed, the ship was a mad house that she never bargained for. Emma crawled over to her wide eyed Captain and realized he was in a state of shock. "Well then..." she huffed, and since she saw no water around, and her temper was growing short, she slapped him.

Leon shot awake at the sharp contact. A gasp burst forth from his lips and his eyes focused on Emma. What-? The realisation hit him. The ship..the ship is it there? His gaze turned to the direction of the railings where the ship had last been seen. He hoped that it had been his own imaginings, that they couldn't possibly be after him. Surely Tom would've been in touch and warned him if they had discovered about him. Tom knew what would happen....it had happened to him too....

Jay was trying to steer the boat away, still shouting as order slowly came back on the deck and men started running around trying to prepare cannons, if they were needed, and helping with the sails. He didn't have the time nor the extra breath to explain to Emma, and was just grateful she was there to care for Leon, whom he almost wanted to leave the wheel for, but knew he couldn't. The ship was coming closer, and the men on board could be seen scurrying about as well. So coming upon them had been a complete incident, and now they thought they could capture the pirates and take home an extra prize.

They had another thing coming, Jay thought grisly, yelling for some of the crew to get Emma and the captain below deck.

Emma looked around and saw no place where she was needed but Leon, who still seemed to be in a slight daze. She took his arm and decided to lead him to her room, with all of her supplies. She knew if she didn't do it, she would be shoved off under the deck anyways, because she was no help at all, especially if she got hurt or worse. Emma didn't even know what was going on, but assumed the other ship was a raiding ship of some sort. She didn't want to get captured, as sometimes unlucky women were...but it all depended on the type of people in the ship. Emma scurried down the stairs and to her room, half dragging the captain, with a little help from another crew member. After she sat down and the Captain was on a cot, she told the crew man he should get back to the deck and looked around for her pitcher of water, "So, are you going to tell me what's going on?" she asked, slightly more rude than she intended to be.

Leon sat on the edge of the cot, mumbling quietly to himself. How did they know it was me? It has to be them, I'd know that flag anywhere. He continued this way for quite a few minutes before he suddenly seemed to realise where he was and he looked up at Emma. How did we get below deck? He asked her, obvious confusion on his face. Panic ran through his mind and shone brightly in his eyes.

Emma watched the captain with mild curiosty as she listened to him ramble on. When he finally ralized where he was she sighed and walked over to him, "You were panicking, and you were mumbling about how a certain ship has foundyou." she said, her voice softening as she saw the confusion and fear on his face. He looked like a child who lost his mother in the middle of the town market. As she poured a glass of water for each of them she continued, "Are you calm enough to tell me what exactly is going on?" she asked again, this time in a polite tone.

Captain Dagger gave a grateful smile to Emma as he took a sip of the water. His hands were shaking and he swallowed deeply. He slowly shook his head, I can't tell you, there's too much for you to think about, all I can say is that we need to stay clear of that ship at all costs. Just....trust me ok?

Emma sighed and took a sip of her water, "Yes, yes...my poor fragile mind." she replied sarcastically. She looked down at her water and closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down some more. Emmaline looked back up at the captains face and gave him her most trusting face, " I...I trust you." she replied.

Leon gave a curt nod then stood. I need you to go and fetch Lieutenant Moon, we need to get to Kaiden as soon as possible. He ran a hand through his hair, worry creasing his features. If anything had happened to his family or to the orphanage he would search the world to find those responsible and make them pay for everything, including those hidden in his past.

Emma smiled weakly and rushed out of the room towards the deck. She spotted Moon and collected herself, breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth slowly. "Moon, the Captain says we need to get to Kaiden as soon as possible. He's very worried, so I would advise some hauling of the butt." she said, waiting to see what he would say.

Jay looked at Emma, his eyebrows furrowing together. "I could do that rather easily, were it not for the navy about to fire on us."

He thought for a second, which was a wonder how he managed to, with all the bustle and hustle going on on the upper deck. With sudden swiftness, he spun the steering wheel around, making the boat turn sharply. The whole crew went careening to one side of the boat, though Jay managed to wrap an arm around Emma's waist to stop her from joining them.

"Man the sails!" he shouted. "We can outrun the navy ship easily! We're taking the Far Passage to Kaiden!"

"But s-sir!" someone spoke up as the men managed to steady themselves. "That's the most dangerous way there is!"

"Captain's orders!" Jay barked. "Go before the barrel of my gun finds its way down one of your throats!" The men scrambled to follow his orders.

Leon gathered up his wits before following Emma up to the deck. He grasped onto the doorframe as the ship turned suddenly. He stepped onto the deck and walked towards Jay. Kaiden? He asked simply as his silvered gaze stayed fixed upon the ship in the horizon.

Emma's head spun as the boat turned suddenly, glad for the strong arm of Moon that supported her. "Oh." she said softy as she stumbled into his side. She looked over to the Captain who said something quietly and guessed he was figuring out what was happening. "Kaiden." she replied.

"Ay, ay, Cap'n!" Jay said cheerfully. A cannon landed besides the ship in the water, swaying it. "Come on, you dogs! Hurry with the sails! You four! Man the cannons, in case we need them! Get moving!" Jay glanced behind at the navy ship, which had already started to fall behind as the sails were maneuvered. They fired another cannon, which again nearly hit, but instead fell into the water.

"You, boy! Take care of the wheel! Keep 'er steady." Jay pushed the boy in front of the steering wheel, before pushing his sleeves up his arms and grabbing hold of a rope that was giving the crew some trouble. He yanked on it, his muscles in his arm flexing, and the sail flew up. "Let's lose these landlubbers!" he shouted. A chorus of 'Aye!' went up.
